London-based Media21, an online media planning and buying specialist, has been snapped-up by US interactive consultancy Beyond Interactive, part of Grey Global Group. Lips were zipped about the sum paid.

Media 21’s current management remains in situ under Rick Sareen, Media21’s co-founder, who becomes chair of Beyond’s new European division. The shop will rebrand as Beyond Interactive London, the latest springboard in the US group's global expansion, which has seen recent office openings in Hong Kong, China, and Mexico City.
