Second quarter trading at New York-headquartered Grey Global Group resulted in a profit of $5.7 million against a loss of $6.6m for the same period last year.

Billings rose 17% from $1.74 billion to $2bn, while pretax profits from consolidated companies leapt to $15.3 million against $819,000 for last year’s Q2.
