France Telecom is selling Dutch cable-TV firm Casema to a group of buy-out companies.

Providence Equity Partners, Carlyle Group LLC and GMT Communications Partners are paying €655 million ($680m; £424m) in cash for the unit, the Netherlands’ number-three cable operator. The deal is expected to close by the end of January.

Telecom had previously agreed to sell Casema to John Malone’s Liberty Media, but this agreement was derailed by regulators.
