NEW YORK: Blinks - the miniature radio commercials launched two months ago by Clear Channel Radio [WAMN: 15-Jun-06] - have finally found a buyer.

Lasting only one to three seconds, Blinks will hype Fox Broadcasting's fall season premieres of House, Prison Break and The Simpsons. What Blinks lack in duration they make up in frequency, running hourly between 6am to 7pm.

Claims Clear Channel ceo Mark Mays: "The opportunity to embed spots in content, and not in a commercial break, is a compelling solution to conventionally structured radio."
