Upcoming chairman of the American Association of Advertising Agencies in New York is Ken Kaess, president and chief executive at DDB Worldwide in New York. Kaess (47) is currently vice chairman.

On accession to the chair, he will be replaced by James R Heekin (52) chairman and chief executive at the McCann- Erickson World Group in New York, a director of the association since 2000.

Marsha Lindsay (50), president/ceo at Lindsay Stone & Briggs Advertising in Madison, Wisconsin is to continue in her honorary role as secretary-treasurer.

Members of the association will ratify the appointments at the Four A’s 2002 management conference and business meeting scheduled for April 17-20 in Laguna Niguel, California.
