Motor giant Ford is rumoured to be on the verge of announcing major changes to its European and global rosters.
Young & Rubicam has, it is thought, been awarded the $75 million global duties for Land Rover, fending off pitches from Grey Worldwide and HHCL in London.
The motor group is also believed to have selected Ogilvy & Mather Worldwide to handle Ford’s entire European oval brand account (covering all cars displaying the oval Ford badge). This would mean that O&M has picked up several brands, such as the Galaxy range, from WPP sibling Young & Rubicam.
Ford declined to comment, saying it would make a statement next week.
