America Online France has invited five agencies to pitch for its estimated $25 million account as part of a rethink of its advertising strategy. The agencies are DDB Worldwide, Grey Worldwide, Havas-owned Enjoy Scher Lafarge, Jean & Montmarin and Ogilvy & Mather Worldwide.

AOL has over 600,000 subscribers in France but is facing stiff competition from new ISPs, including many who charge no subscription fee.
