PAUL FRASER has become joint chief executive of ailing Jersey-based mail order group Flying Flowers. Fraser, who sold his Stanley Gibbons philatelic business to FF six months ago [Debrief, 6-32] is surely regretting taking the loot in Flying Flowers shares - a decision that has lightened his wallet by an estimated £9.5m. His shares stood at 512p when he acquired them; they are now worth 150p. Fraser sees his new role as ‘the best place to look after my investment’.
