Ford Motor Company announced yesterday that it is to launch a global partnership with US-based Ha-Lo Industries to market branded merchandise for its major vehicle marques, including Ford, Jaguar, Lincoln and Volvo.

The car colossus is the majority partner in the – as yet – unnamed company, with Ha-Lo vice chairman Linden Nelson at the steering wheel as CEO.

Ha-Lo will employ the internet to extend Ford's current roster of over four hundred licensees accounting for more than 12,500 products.
