Flipside.com, a website dedicated to games, will launch a $10 million multimedia campaign during NBC’s Olympic coverage on September 15th.

The opportunity of advertising a games site during the biggest “games” in the world proved too good to miss. Virginia Gray, vice president of marketing at Flipside, declared “It’s the big ‘games’ event of 2000. We also know our target audience was both men and women. We know the Olympics truly appeals to everyone”.

Flipside, launched earlier this month by Havas Interactive and VivendiNet, also sponsors US Olympic trampolinist Jenny Parilla.

The ads will focus on the lighter side of taking time out to play games.
