FLAT THIRD QUARTER FOR READER’S DIGEST

News, 02 May 2000

Despite flat revenues for its third quarter, Reader’s Digest Association predicts that it will post an increase in annual revenue this fiscal – its first since 1996.
Net income for the quarter ended March 31 was $25.1m (€27.5m), a mere $0.1m increase year-on-year. But according to chief executive Thomas O Ryder, RDA is “trending toward” double-digit revenue growth for the next quarter.
