AT&T Wireless, soon to be spun-off by parent AT&T Corporation, is to review its $400 million advertising business, currently held by True North’s FCB Worldwide, San Francisco.

Said AT&TW spoke James Peterson: “The time is right to take a look at lots of aspects of our business as we prepare to split from our parent company this summer.” He declined to name the other shops contesting the business.

"We intend to aggressively defend the account," said FCB doughtily.
