Following the departure of its top executive, FCB Chicago has installed a new management team.
Announced on Thursday, the resignation of president Brian Williams is believed to be connected with the agency’s recent loss of the $350 million duties for Quaker Oats and other PepsiCo-owned brands [WAMN: 24-Sep-01].
The food and beverages giant shifted the business to Omnicom Group, but the latter has not yet assigned an agency network to handle the accounts. It is thought that Williams has been in talks with Omnicom about heading a new unit linked to DDB Worldwide which would take over all or part of the PepsiCo duties.
FCB wasted no time in reorganising its management, appointing Dana Anderson president/ceo. Jonathon Harries moves from executive vp–worldwide creative director of global brands at the Chicago shop to chairman and worldwide creative director. Bob Dreveney continues as the agency’s executive creative director.
