As part of a reorganisation of Walt Disney Company’s ailing TV division ABC Entertainment Television, co-chairman Stuart Bloomberg resigned Monday.

The departure of Bloomberg – the man who introduced Who Wants to be a Millionaire to American audiences – leaves co-chairman Lloyd Braun as the network’s sole chair.

In addition, ABC’s executive vp– movies and mini series, Susan Lyne, has been promoted to president of ABC Entertainment, accountable to Braun.

ABC is suffering in the battle for viewers, having dropped 29 ratings points in the last two years. The once all-conquering Millionaire is one of the latest shows to fall from grace.
