ELECTRONIC COMMERCE in Europe is booming, according to information consolidated from analysts and suppliers of technology equipment. The findings support a recent claim by systems manufacturer Cisco that Europe is rapidly closing the e-business gap with the USA, as does a report from direct-sell computer manufacturer Dell that European sales are now running at $1m a day, with over 100,000 visitors weekly to its European Web sites.
