Emap Elan’s glossy teen-mag Minx is to close after the latest ABC audit figures showed an 18.2% decline in sales.

Barry McIlheny, chief executive of Emap’s Elan magazine group, said that Minx had failed to hold sales despite a number of relaunches. It will be axed with effect from the current (August) issue, which went on sale July 1.
