General Motors’ new brand team for the Hummer marque has briefed eight agencies to pitch for the vehicle’s estimated $35 million advertising account.
During August, says Hummer brand manager Marc Hernandez, the striving octet will be reduced to a shortlist of three or four. He declined to name names but conceded that incumbent Pyro, Dallas, is among the contestants.
He also said that none of the eight shops handled brands competing with GM.
