Britain's largest electrical appliances retailer Dixons Stores Group has named its new advertising director.

John Laidlaw moves from Barclays Bank to become head of the media and creative business for the Dixons, Currys, PC World and The Link brands.

Commented Laidlaw’s new boss, marketing services director Elizabeth Fagan: “He brings a wealth of blue chip brand development, marketing and advertising experience”.
