EL SEGUNDO, CALIFORNIA - US satellite television company DirecTV Group has reported a swing to a first-quarter profit, despite slower subscriber additions.
   The News Corporation controlled broadcaster posted net income of $235 million (€185m; £127m), compared with a loss of $41m in the year-earlier period. Revenue rose 7.6% to $3.39 billion.
   The company's domestic pay-TV service added 919,000 subscribers during Q1, falling 19% from the same period last year.
