LOS ANGELES - A new report predicts that around 50% of US satellite and cable TV subscribers will have digital video recording devices by 2010, up from the current estimated 28% and 10% respectively.
   Consultants Carmel Group also project a roughly fivefold increase in overall revenue - totalling about $5.5 billion (€4.61bn; £3.15bn) over the next few years - accruing from the hardware, associated software and service fees.
