Global tyre manufacturer Dunlop - now a unit of Goodyear - is reviewing its pan-European creative advertising account, a move that leaves incumbent Abbott Mead Vickers BBDO in temporary limbo.
Although the Omnicom-owned London shop has been invited to repitch, there is serious competition in the form of sister agency BBDO, Hamburg’s Springer & Jacoby International and 180 in Amsterdam.
The review is being conducted by Dunlop’s London-based marketing services manager, Geraldine McGovern. Media planning and buying, currently handled by Media Mondiale, is not involved in the review.
An appointment will be confirmed by the year end.
