FOLLOWING the initial furore over the Royal Mail's attempt to impose its new Business Pricing tariff without adequate consultation, the RM has reached agreement with the DMA and the Mail Users Association on a phased round of discussions, setting a deadline of 28 February for agreement on a tariff and a timetable for its implementation. Meanwhile, all three parties are cooling the issue with emollient press statements.
