REPRESENTATIVES OF the DMA and Institute of Direct Marketing travelled to Northern Ireland earlier this month to meet with a large cross-section of the Ulster dm industry. Colin Lloyd, DMA chief executive, and IDM director Jill Hancock made a joint presentation which was warmly received by the sixty attendees, comprising suppliers, agencies and client companies. Colin Lloyd and David Robottom also met with members of the Irish Development Board which is eager to assist the growth of direct marketing in the Province, in particular the placement of call centres.
