Global delivery group DHL, recently acquired by Deutsche Post, is reviewing its pan-European media duties, worth £8 million in the UK alone.

Fighting it out for the account are incumbent CIA UK and BBJ, sister shop of Carat, the agency which handles Deutsche Post in Germany.

Although the review is believed to have been instigated by Deutsche Post, Carat UK does not feature, since it already handles Royal Mail – hence the pitch from BBJ instead.

Creative, assigned to DDB, is not thought to be affected by the search.
