Dentsu, the Tokyo-headquartered worldwide agency network, is to set up a 50/50 joint venture with internet consultancy MarchFirst of Chicago.

MarchFirst, which has a presence in fourteen countries, is investing $13.6 million in the venture, as is Dentsu.

The new company, as yet unnamed, will offer Japanese and other pan-Asian clients internet branding and net consultancy services plus a range of related skills.
