Atlanta-headquartered Ciba Vision – the eye care unit of pharmaceuticals company Novartis – has consolidated its North American consumer contact-lens ad duties at Chicago’s Publicis in Mid America.

The agency already handles the Fresh Look tinted lenses account of Wesley Jessen Vision Care – acquired by Ciba Vision in October. Publicis now also picks up the client’s estimated $20 million Focus lens range account, previously serviced by J Walter Thompson.

Media buying is handled by the new agency’s stablemate Optimedia International.
