London agency HHCL & Partners will get a new group chairman should its long-awaited merger with WPP Group’s Red Cell network go through.
The shop’s managing director Nick Howarth is expected to take on the role, with incumbent Simon Burridge moving to an undisclosed post at HHCL’s current parent Chime Communications.
The Red Cell network, itself the subject of recent upheaval, wants HHCL to be its London outpost. A decision on the deal is expected next week.
