A corporate reshuffle at Time Warner Cable has resulted in three senior executives facing the axe in favour of new faces.
CEO Glenn Britt retains his position, but the cable giant's president Tom Baxter, chief operating officer John Billock and chief marketing officer Chuck Ellis are all set to leave.
Time Warner Cable is believed to be looking outside the cable sector for a new marketing chief and new right-hand-man for Britt.
The exit of Ellis could also herald the opportunity of an advertising agency review.
An unnamed company executive says Britt and Don Logan, chairman of parent Time Warner's media and communications group, wanted a more efficient and simplified company structure.
Claims that the company restructuring was the result of suggestions made by management consultant McKinsey & Co were refuted by a company spokesman.
