UK-headquartered confectionery manufacturer Cadbury has selected the Hong Kong office of TBWA Worldwide to create an international ad push for its Choclairs caramel chocolate brand. Billings have not been disclosed.

The campaign, slated for launch by the end of Q3, will run in greater China (which includes Taiwan and Hong Kong), South Africa, Poland, India and Malaysia.

The choice of the Hong Kong office – which will handle account management, strategy and creative duties – reflects China’s status as one of Cadbury’s biggest markets. The company’s media business is handled by a number of shops around the world, each selected on a local basis.

TBWA Hong Kong is also handling a campaign for the sweet maker’s flagship Cadbury Dairy Milk Chocolate brand, which will run in various markets across the Asia Pacific region.
