COI Communications, the government’ conduit for routing marketing communications assignments to agencies, has unveiled its first lineup of specialist new-media planning and buying shops.
The e-roster includes:
mdigita (owned by WPP’s MindShare)
Media Contracts (digital division of Media Planning)
According to COI head of media development Jamie Galloway, the shops invited to pitch could nominate their interest in one or more of thirteen segments, including interactive media design through to technical consultancy and database design.
Says Galloway: “Being on the roster doesn't guarantee an agency work, but gives it the opportunity to be selected.”
The shops will be chosen on a project basis for assignments ranging from the Army to UK Online, the government’s latest internet initiative.
