A new billings league table has put Maurice and Charles Saatchi’s new firm M&C Saatchi ahead of the agency from which they were ousted, Saatchi & Saatchi.

AC Nielsen’s advertising billings league table for the year to September saw M&C Saatchi climb two places to sixth, with a total of £243 million (up 7.3% on last year). Their old firm, on the other hand, fell two places to seventh, with total billings of £234m (down 13%).

Both, however, have some way to go before they catch the number one agency, Abbot Mead Vickers, with billings of £399m.
