The unidentified contenders for Bristol-Myers Squibb’s $275-$300 million media planning and buying account [WAMN: 14-Feb-01] were named yesterday.

Three shops are pitching for the business, the total value of which is uncertain as the brief almost certainly excludes the client's Clairol haircare range – currently up for auction [WAMN: 19-Feb-01].

The contenders, all Manhattan-based, are MediaVest (a unit of Bcom3), Pervasive Media (True North Communications), and Initiative Media North America (Interpublic).
