Roy J Bostock is leaving his post as chairman of the Chicago-headquartered Bcom3 Group, the world’s seventh-largest ad group and owner of networks such as Leo Burnett Worldwide, D’Arcy Masius Benton & Bowles and Starcom MediaVest Group.
Bostock is moving to a newly created post of chairman of the executive committee, handling the group’s biggest clients. His replacement is Roger Haupt, who will henceforth combine the chairman’s duties with his existing role of chief executive.
Bostock and Haupt were chief executives at (respectively) the MacManus Group and the Leo Group, before the two merged to form Bcom3 in February 2000.
