Diageo-owned, Miami-based Burger King has promoted Labatt Breweries marketing director Marco Menazzi-Moretti to the new post of director-global consumer understanding. He is responsible for brand research in all four of Burger King's global regions: North America, Asia-Pacific, Latin America/Caribbean and Europe/Middle East/Africa.
In a second new appointment, incumbent director of product marketing Dereck Correia, 31, assumes the newly created role of vp-product marketing, USA. He will head all marketing for the Whopper sandwich brand, new products and development of the chain’s breakfast business.
