The first paragraph of our lead story on Monday, headlined BT's Television Venture 'A Flop', Opines Morgan Stanley, made it clear that the phrase actually used by the investment bank was "low take-up".

However, despite this and additional clarification later in the same story, some readers may have taken the term 'flop' literally.

We would like to make it clear that marketing has yet to commence on the BT Vision project and that customer take-up at this stage is "entirely in line" with BT's expectations.
