LONDON - The UK's publicly-funded broadcaster, the BBC, is reportedly planning a weekly news magazine.
Speculation about the launch - pencilled in for the end of this year or more realistically 2007 - was triggered by the move of BBC Magazines' sales director Ashley Munday to a development role.
The broadcaster denies it has any plans for such a venture.
