Following last week’s Air France Concorde disaster, British Airways has instructed its media buying and planning agencies, Initiative and Walker Media, to pull all press and internet ads for the next seven days.

The move is intended as a mark of respect for those who died in the tragedy at Charles de Gaulle airport in Paris.

The airline’s 48-sheet posters will, however, remain in situ because of the logistical problems in their removal.
