Boston-headquartered Arnold Worldwide Partners last night walked off with the top honor plus two other major prizes at the 20th Annual Kelly Awards, held in Beverly Hills, California, and sponsored by the Magazine Publishers of America.
The agency, a unit of Havas Advertising, won the $100,000 top award for general excellence for its Hey, there’s a … campaign on behalf of Volkswagen of America. It also collected accolades in the categories: ‘best at meeting campaign objectives’ and ‘best idea/concept’.
The Harley-Davidson brand campaign was acknowledged ‘best headline and copy’, garnered for the second consecutive year by Interpublic’s Carmichael Lynch in Minneapolis; while Omicom’s Goodby, Silverstein & Partners in San Francisco won the ‘best design and graphics’ category for Nike’s women's footwear campaign.
There were twenty-five finalists, all chosen by creative directors at agencies across the US.
