The US Air Force has awarded its $50 million-per-year strategic marketing and advertising business to Omnicom’s GSD&M in Austin, Texas.
The contract will initially run for one year from February 1, with six one-year renewal options.
The decision brings to an end an 8-month review process in which GSD&M had to fend off final-round pitches from 14-year incumbent Bozell Kamstra in Irving and McLean, Virginia’s Image Media Services.
GSD&M will also work with other Omnicom-affiliated agencies in interactive marketing.
