NEW YORK: Media agency Carat USA and digital marketing firm Carat Fusion, both owned by Aegis Group, have merged to become a single fully integrated company.

The new firm, to be known simply as Carat and headquartered in New York, is structured to address the growing demand for integration and globalization in the digital market.

It is led by ceo Sarah Fay and president Scott Sorokin. They replace Carat USA president Ray Warren who is leaving the company.

Comments Fay: "The goal behind the restructuring of the business is to bring all of the offerings of Carat to our clients in one voice. . . . It's about leveraging the strength of the business to leverage the power of online and offline media."
