Adelphia Offers Rescue Duo Megabucks

News, 10 January 2003

Despite sheltering in the haven of Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection, Adelphia Communications is poised to offer a $65 million (€61.94m; £40.46m) pay deal to William Schleyer and Ronald Cooper, two executives who previously worked at AT&T Broadband.

They will pocket the money if they manage to restore the looted cable giant to fiscal wellbeing within two years.
