America’s radio ad sector seems to be on the road to recovery, albeit a slow one, with new figures from the Radio Advertising Bureau showing a year-on-year rise in adspend for May.

Total national and local radio ad sales rose 3% from May 2001, while aggregated spend for the first five months of the year increased 1% from the same period twelve months before.

This upward trend in radio ad revenues is expected to continue.
