Disney’s ABC television network today launches a promotion encouraging viewers to interact with its website.
Visitors to the site will be able to download nuggets of internet content, named ABC Dots, direct to their desktops. These will include video clips, games, a calendar and a news ticker. The promotion will have a network theme and be centred upon ABC’s logo.
“We’re always trying to find new and different platforms to help people think about the ABC brand: our shows, our stars, our identity”, said Alan Cohen, ABC’s executive vice president for marketing, advertising and promotion.
