Cable group NTL has unveiled Q3 digital subscriber figures up 86,200 on Q2, and claims to be on course for its target of 500,000 by the end of the year.

The company announced it had 325,000 digital customers at the end of September plus 3.1 million telephone and cable subscribers in Britain and Ireland.

Meanwhile the NTLworld internet business has expanded to 381,200 customers, plus 80,000 high speed web subscribers in France, Switzerland, Sweden and Britain.

NTL also revealed a monthly churn rate (proportion of subscribers leaving its service) of 1% in Britain and Ireland.
