The august business-oriented New York Times group is set to enter into a deal with internet portal Yahoo! that will make editorial content from the paper’s digital edition available to Yahoo! subscribers. The terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
It will include national and international daily news alongside coverage of the arts, politics, business, and technology. Localised content via the paper’s newyorktoday.com and boston.com sites is also part of the package.
The alliance replaces that with thestreet.com, the ailing financial news provider formerly partnered by the NYT.
