IMPROBABLE THOUGH it may seem, British Airways has become a hot internet stock according to US magazine Business 2.0. The carrier made it into 92nd place in the magazine's '100 Hottest Companies on the Internet'. This singular honour was awarded on the basis that the world's favourite airline sells all of one per cent of its tickets online. Boasted Julia Groves, BA's senior manager for digital channels: 'We've been working hard to build a reputation as an internet company.' [But not as hard as direct-sell rival easyJet - which now sells over 10% of its tickets online.]
