French tourism group Accor is planning to launch a global corporate rebranding drive centred around its logo.

The logo will be introduced alongside the group’s brands, which include Novotel, Ibis, Formule 1 and Mercure. Accor currently operates 3,500 hotels in 140 countries.

It will also be given prominence in Accor’s tourism services, such as its travel agency and e-commerce arms.

The business will be handled by incumbent agency, Omnicom’s BDDP@TBWA in Paris.
