General Motors yesterday announced the appointment of Boston’s Modernista to the $20–$35 million of the Hummer brand account.

The move, which represents an expansion of GM’s roster, follows a three-month review involving Modernista and three unnamed agencies. However, the unsuccessful trio is believed to be Pyro Brand Development in Dallas, McCann-Erickson Worldwide in Troy, Michigan, and Virginia’s Martin Agency.
