Unisys Corporation has named the Grey Global Group to handle its $40 million-plus account worldwide, with media planning and buying handled by GGG sibling Mediacom.

Unisys director for corporate advertising Kerry Baker reports that Grey slugged it out with two other short-listed shops, the Chicago office of Leo Burnett Worldwide and McCann-Erickson Worldwide Advertising, New York.

Formerly handled by Bozell Group in New York, the Unisys business was put up for grabs after Bozell sister company FCB Worldwide was awarded the Compaq Computer account.
