Paris-headquartered Havas Advertising revealed yesterday that it has purchased Toronto agency Vickers & Benson. The terms of deal remain shrouded.
The Canadian shop, which also has an office in Chicago, employs 225 staff in total and numbers among its clientele such elite names as British Airways, McDonald's and Ralston Purina.
V&B will operate as an autonomous entity within Havas’s newly created Campus global network. Incumbent V&B chairman/chief executive John Hayter (59), executive vp/chief operating officer Jim Satterthwaite (54) and Terry Bell (51), executive vice president and chairman for creative services, retain their present roles.
